  1. For me, getting up and walking every hour is a big help. It doesn’t have to be far.

  2. It is important to encourage healthy activities. Some work areas even have a way to instill wellness in their employees.

  3. Have healthy homemade snacks ready so when you get peckish, work late etc you aren’t tempted to turn to high sugar/high carb snacks.

  4. There is a good website called “ergocise” that I encourage employees to have open as a reminder to get up and stretch every hour is how I have it set up. Also, when I have to take a call, I stand up and take the call to stretch too.

  5. If you promote standing work desk then it will be work for well-being. In my opinion, you should also do desk yoga to recover from work stress.
